Brow lamination or Brow lift is the beauty treatment that promises well-defined, full eyebrows. But for TikTok user Hannah Unsworth, the result was not at all what she imagined.
What is Brow lift or brow lamination?
Brow lamination or Brow lift is a beauty treatment that has become increasingly popular in recent years. The purpose of the treatment is to give the brows a “lift”, as well as the illusion of denser and fuller brows.
The treatment consists of four parts where you use different products to define, fix and color the eyebrows. Just like with a lash lift, a keratin treatment is also included, which strengthens the brows and adds vitamins, minerals and proteins.

Hanna Unsworth, @cassie_0181 on TikTok, is one of those who have tried the treatment. But in a video that currently has 1.6 million views, she says that the brow lamination, which was performed at a beauty salon, gave a completely different result than expected.
In the video, we initially see how the brows should look after a successful brow lift: well-shaped and full. Next, Unsworth shows off the hair-raising result – wildly overgrown eyebrows that look grotesquely large in relation to her face.

“Very disappointed”
After the video was posted, several people advised Hanna to wet her eyebrows and comb them through, which would restore them to their normal appearance:
“I perform this treatment,” wrote one user. “Wet them down as fast as possible and comb them through.”
Unsworth followed the advice – which several users pointed out was about hot water – and later shared that her brows had returned to normal: “But I’m very disappointed, it was the first thing I’ve treated myself to since having a baby,” she wrote.
