Classic meatballs
You need:
800 g ground beef
800 g mixed minced meat
2 dl cream milk (1 1/2 dl milk, 1/2 dl cream)
2 dl breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1 dl water
4 medium boiled potatoes
2 large yellow onions
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tablespoons of anchovy soup
4 tbsp conc. calf fund
2 tbsp Kikkoman soy
butter for frying salt and pepper
For serving:
mashed potatoes
raw stir-fried lingonberries
Do this:
Mix the cream milk, breadcrumbs, eggs and water into a loose batter. Set aside to swell for a while. Mash the potatoes finely with a fork. Peel the onions. Grate one, finely chop and fry the other golden brown (this gives a tastier minced meat with two types of onion flavour).
Mix all the ingredients quickly into a smooth batter. Salt and pepper. Test-fry a click to taste the seasoning.
Form as round buns as possible and fry them golden brown in butter in batches. Serve the meatballs with mashed potatoes and raw-stirred lingonberries.
