The Super Bowl is one of the most followed sports competitions in the world. The average number of viewers exceeds 100 million. After the 57th edition in which the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, French footballer Antoine Griezmann celebrated the third ring for Patrick Mahomes’ team in style.
As if he were just another North American, the Atlético de Madrid forward shared a video on his social networks where he can be seen wearing the colors of the Chiefs and launching fireworks in what appears to be the garden of his house in Spain.
The Griezmann clip was uploaded to the stories of his Instagram account and quickly went viral on different platforms. In the audiovisual where the soccer player tagged the franchise and the star Patrick Mahomes, you can see him jump and shout for joy while the rockets he lit to celebrate explode.
The World runner-up with France in Qatar 2022 is in love with American sports. When he defended the colors of FC Barcelona, he publicly expressed his love for the Chiefs and was even in the profile of the Chiefs as one of the celebrities who most supports the National Football League franchise.
He has also been seen attending NBA games, wearing custom jerseys, playing basketball video games, and sharing videos practicing his 3-pointers.
