About 10 kilometers from Ciutadella, this is a small beach, but full of charm and, as it is very famous and sought after, it may not be easy to find a place to park your car or your towel if you arrive too late.

This is one of the main bays on the island, located next to Cala Turqueta, about 5 minutes’ walk from it. Cala Macarella also includes a smaller bay, Cala Macarelleta.

Both beaches are connected by a magnificent trail, filled with stupendous views. As you walk the path between the two beaches, take lots of pictures and replace your beach flip flops with sneakers. You will see that you will feel more comfortable.

This is the largest beach in Ciutadella de Menorca, the second urban center on the island. After all, there are more than 300 meters of coastline!

After a day at the beach, there’s nothing like going to the town of Sant Climent, where you can find some delicious restaurants and enjoy the peaceful and calm atmosphere that this town offers.

Located in the south of the island, this beach is one of those undiscovered treasures. The reason is simple: access is difficult, requiring a boat or an hour’s walk.

However, the crystalline waters are well worth the effort, not to mention that, in addition to being one of the most beautiful beaches in Menorca, it is a deserted beach, full of peace and quiet.

Cala Tortuga and Cala Presili

Although it is not common on the beaches in the north of the island, Cala Tortuga has super nice fine white sand. This beach is included in the Natural Park of Albufera de Grau, located between the road that connects Mahón to Fornells.

The silence of which conveys a unique calm and peace. The landscape is stunning and the sound of the sea waves underscores this tranquility, complemented by the beauty of this incredible setting.

Sa Mesquida beach is 10kms north of Mahón. From here it is possible to observe the port of the island. This is one of the favorite beaches of the inhabitants of Menorca and is the destination of choice for them, especially at weekends.

In addition to free parking, the beach is guarded and has a small kiosk with cold drinks and ice cream.
