WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging apps in the world, recently announced that it will stop working on some smartphones starting December 31, 2022.
Therefore, users of these devices will not be able to use the application to send and receive messages, make voice or video calls or share files.
The decision was taken due to the fact that the operating systems of these devices have become obsolete, not being supported by WhatsApp.
As such, smartphones with older operating systems, such as Android 2.3.7 and older or iOS 8 and older, lose compatibility with the app.
