It is known that Manny Machado wants to break his relationship with the San Diego Padres at the end of this seasonthe reason is none other than a lack of economic agreement between both parties.
However, The San Diego team has made a proposal to the Dominican third baseman for five seasons and $145 million dollars as reported by USA Today.
Said figure, according to the aforementioned media, was not accepted by the star player who would instead be asking for a total of $200 million dollars for five seasons.

According to reports from Talkin Baseball, the Dominican invited to six MLB all-star games, would be looking for a 10-year mega-contract for a total of $400 million dollars. Something that the organization he represents still does not see very clearly.
