Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr came back from behind against Al Batin, bottom of the Arab league and ended up taking the 3-1 victory and thus they maintain the leadership of the Saudi league. What stands out is that the team led by Rudi García ended up scoring the three goals in added time, after the main judge gave a total of 12 minutes of replacement, something that caused a lot of controversy.

Another important fact is that the figure of Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo, although he was very active, failed to be present on the scoreboard and at times showed flashes of despair. Just a few minutes before the start of the game, the Uruguayan Renzo López put the team led by the Croatian Zdravko Logarušić ahead, later Al Nassr would try to equalize the score but success would come in injury time.

Al Ghareeb one of the key pieces of Al Nassr, achieved the agonizing tie at minute 93, something that would be the beginning of a comeback that followed with the goal of Al Fatil at minute 112 and at minute 114 Mohammed Maran left definitive figures for the team where Cristiano Ronaldo plays. The claims did not wait but nothing would change the course of the meeting.

Despite not having scored, Cristiano Ronaldo received the player of the month award in the Saudi Arabian league thanks to his great performances that have served to position the team at the top of the table, including eight goals in the month of February.

Al Nassr’s next meeting will be on Thursday 9 March when they travel to Al Ittihad Stadiumin what will be a very important clash since those led by Rudi García are at the top of the table with 46 points, two more than their next rivals, who with a victory could take the top of the Arab championship by storm.
