Another season of Idol 2022 is coming to an end, and after a boiling final in Tele2 Arena, we can now state that Nike Sellmar from Piteå is the winner.
It was during the audition stop in Åre that Nike Sellmar stepped in and first stole the hearts of the jury, and then the viewers. With her guitar, her charm and her version of Maren Morris’ “Better Than We Found It”, she sang her way to Stockholm and the final audition. It was during the qualifying week in Kungsträdgården that she really made her entrance, and since then she has received standing ovations week after week.
During the grand final, it was finally between Nike and Albin Tingwall from Sigtuna, who also made himself a big favorite with the viewers. After three grueling rounds, however, it was clear that it was Nike who took home the rub. Congratulations to Nike!
