Lupillo Rivera was surprised to hear his band

Lupillo Rivera, one of the most popular artists in regional Mexican music, turned 51 on January 31, and his band gave him a surprise. At a concert in Socoltenango, Chiapas, “La Elegida del Rey” perplexed the singer by interpreting “Las mañanitas” for him.
Rivera had just entered the show and started singing “Eslabón por eslabón”. A few seconds after the singer is performing the song accompanied by the band, the musicians remained silent causing the “Toro del Corrido” to turn covertly to see what was happening.
Looking at his musicians, they began to play and sing ‘Las Mañanitas’ for him. The brother of the deceased Jenni Rivera was surprised by the gesture made by his band in front of the Socoltenango fans.
Lupillo did not ignore the treat and published it on his social networks. On Instagram, he expressed that he was totally impressed and thanked for the nice detail they did to him on the stage.
“They got me out of the loop😂 but thank you very much to my work team and @laelegidadelrey_oficial”
Rivera wrote when posting the video.
Likewise, in another publication the ‘Toro del Corrido’ uploaded a carousel of images from that night and offered a thank you to the people who came to see him sing. As he specified, the concert was the first of the concerts that he will offer in February in Chiapas.
“Thank you Socoltenango for receiving us on the first date of February. We are back in Chiapas!”, Rivera said.
His brother Juan congratulated Lupillo on his birthday
Juan and Lupillo Rivera have been estranged for a long time, but his brother also congratulated the “Toro del Corrido” on his 51st life anniversary.
From ‘La Casa de los Famosos’, a reality show in which Juan Rivera participates, he sent his older brother an emotional message and sang ‘Las Mañanitas’ along with other members of the house.
“Things are as they are, but always, always, carnal. I wish you the best, I send you a big hug, happy 51st birthday and this one goes to you”
He expressed before commenting to sing.
