As the second leg of the season progresses, the figure of Guillermo Ochoa continues to grow in Salernitana of Serie A in Italy. This has been one of the reasons why one of the most renowned pastry shops in the city decided to release a cake alluding to the Mexican goalkeeper.
The Arienzo Pastry Shop in Salerno made a cake with the team’s colors and a yellow stripe on which they put the squad shield with the number 13 and the veteran goalkeeper’s last name. In the upper layer of the cake it has an ingredient that could be similar to the goalkeeper’s hair.
The fact was disseminated on social networks and generated some reactions among Internet users. Especially on Twitter. “I like; “What did that cake do to you?”; “75-80% of Mexico hates you. You are rubbish. Please retire from the national team, for God’s sake, have dignity”, were some of the opinions.
In Italy, cakes alluding to soccer players are becoming a trend. In recent days, a Napoli pastry shop has made a cake in tribute to striker Victor Osimhen.
Ochoa has suffered a high average of goals conceded since his arrival at the transalpine club in the winter market. However, he has also been the protagonist of very good performances and has established himself as one of the best players during the matches.
It should be remembered that Ochoa came to Salernitana to play for only six months, which is why at the end of the season he would be free and from this moment another club can negotiate his arrival.
The goalkeeper from Tri already has eight games in Serie A, where he has played more than 500 minutes and conceded almost 20 goals. This has earned him to become one of the goalkeepers with the most saves in the big five leagues in Europe.
