The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo to Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia has caused a huge stir in that part of the Middle East. Such is the expectation that a video recently went viral where he reveals the curious and improvised way in which the Portuguese star is escorted after matches.
The image occurred last Thursday when the Portuguese converted a goal poker to give his team victory against Al-Wehda. After the match, it was possible to see how the five-time Ballon d’Or player was escorted out by twelve members of security all holding hands and surrounding the player in a circle.
The curious thing about the episode is that in the surroundings there were no fans who could bother or hinder the departure of ‘El Bicho’. In his first two official matches he failed to score and only in the third was he able to convert, but through penalties. In this fourth clash Ronaldo was already able to show his scoring power, off for several months due to inactivity with Manchester United and his discreet World Cup in Qatar 2022.
Al Nassr won 4-0 thanks to CR7’s scoring. In the first half he converted two one-on-one and broke the rival nets. In one play he shot with his left foot and in the second with his right. For the second part of the match, the third came through a penalty. Already the fourth and consecratory occurred after the Portuguese won the defender’s back and after a first rebound from the goalkeeper, the rebound hunted by Ronaldo would go up on the scoreboard.
