To do sweet bread at home allows you to better control what your children eat and thus allow them to have a sweet treat, without harmful ingredients. It’s true that there are many varieties and brands for sale in supermarkets, but they don’t always turn out to be healthy choices.
That’s why we share some recipes so that you can prepare everything at home and thus feel more relaxed when it comes to your child’s diet.

SIMPLE sweet bread

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3 c. margarine soup
- 1 c. salt tea
- 250 ml of warm milk
- 30g baker’s yeast
- 5 c. sugar soup
- 700g of wheat flour
how to make sweet bread
- Blend all the ingredients except the flour in a blender for one minute.
- Place the mixture in a large bowl and gradually add the flour, kneading the dough between additions. You should do this until you get a smooth and soft dough.
- Let it rise, at room temperature, covered with a cloth, until it doubles in volume – it may take about one to two hours, depending on the environment where it is.
- Divide the dough into individual shapes, into squares and place on an oven tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a very hot oven for about 35 minutes at 180º, or until golden on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Sweet bread with sweet potato

Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled and mashed sweet potato
- 3 tea cups of wheat flour
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 2 c. baker’s yeast tea
- 2 c. sugar tea
- 1 c. butter soup at room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. salt tea
preparation method
- In a bowl, mix the yeast and sugar with 1/4 of the milk until well dissolved. Reserve.
- In another bowl, mix the flour with the salt.
- Add the sweet potato and mix well.
- Make a hole in the center and add the dissolved yeast.
- Add an egg and mix with a spatula, from the inside out.
- Add the rest of the milk, mixing well.
- When everything is well incorporated, add the butter and knead well.
- Cover with a cloth and let rest for one hour at room temperature.
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Model the buns as you like: into individual balls, into individual squares, or by braiding them, as shown in the image. Place on baking sheet.
- Let it rest for another 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, beat the other egg well.
- Add two teaspoons of water and mix.
- With a brush, spread this mixture over the buns.
- Turn on the oven at 180º and when it is very hot, place the baking sheet for about 30 minutes.
sweet chocolate bread

Ingredients
- 500g wheat flour
- 10gr of salt
- 100gr of sugar
- 60g of melted butter
- 250ml of milk
- 1 egg
- 20g baker’s yeast
- 320gr of chocolate and hazelnut cream
preparation method
- Heat the milk until lukewarm.
- In a bowl, place the flour in the center.
- On one side, place the salt, sugar, egg, butter and milk. On the other side, the yeast.
- Beat the dough well with the mixer, between 3 to 5 minutes.
- Form a ball and cover the bowl with a clean cloth.
- Let the dough rest for two hours at room temperature.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and spread with the chocolate and hazelnut cream.
- Roll up like a pie.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let rest for another hour.
- Take to preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180°.
