The third season of “The Boys” landed on Prime Video this Friday (3). Initially, the series only released three episodes for the premiere, which in less than 24 hours already guaranteed the show the maximum rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The famous American website is known for measuring the popularity and quality of productions based on reviews and viewers’ opinions. According to a publication by the tabloid on Twitter, “The Boys” achieved the Fresh certificate, the highest point the series can have on the site.
By the time of publication, 28 reviews had been computed giving the production a 96% approval rating.
The second season of “The Boys” aired in 2020, which gives viewers a two-year wait for the sequel. In addition, the anticipation for the third season is also in the debut of Jensen Ackles as the Soldier Boy. The actor is known for his role as Dean Winchester on “Supernatural,” which could be helping fans of the old CW series flock to the Amazon show.
Following the strategy of other platforms, streaming is not releasing the show’s episodes all at once, releasing them weekly. With that in mind, the Digital Look separated in another publication the exact dates for the arrival of each episode on Prime Video. Check it out here.
“The Boys” portrays a scenario of superheroes very different from what we are used to. Based on the comics of the same name, the series was created by Eric Kripke and launched its first season in July 2019.
