It was at the end of February that the alleged feud between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber flared up again, all because of an old clip with Hailey Bieber that had started circulating on TikTok. In the clip, Hailey pretends to throw up at the mention of Taylor Swift – one of Selena Gomez’s best friends.

Gomez commented on the video:

“Sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the business.”

Shortly after that, Selena posted a video on TikTok in which she said she accidentally “laminated” her eyebrows too much.

Only hours later, Kylie Jenner posted a post on Instagram in which she wrote, “Was this a mistake?”, followed by a picture of herself and Hailey Bieber in which the focus appeared to be on Bieber’s eyebrows.

Selena Gomez: “Want it to end”

Many fans were convinced that Kylie’s post was a mockery of Selena, which has led to fierce criticism of Hailey on social media.

Now Selena herself believes that the comments have gone too far. In her story on Instagram, she writes the following:

“Hailey Bieber contacted me and told me that she has received death threats and similar hateful negativity. This is not what I stand for. No one should have to experience hatred or bullying. I have always advocated kindness and really want all of this to end,” writes Gomez.
