It will probably be a while before we see Sandra Bullock on the big screen again. The reason? The actress has taken a break from her career, all for the sake of her children.
With movies like Speed, Miss Secret Agent and Gravity on the merit list, Sandra Bullock is one of Hollywood’s most famous actresses. Therefore, it may come as a surprise to many that Bullock has chosen not to take on any projects in the near future.
“Takes my job very seriously”
It was in connection with the promotion of his latest film, The Lost Citywhich Bullock told Entertainment Tonight that she planned to take a break from her career.
Bullock has two adopted children: son Louis, 12, and daughter Laila, 10. In March last year, the actress told E.T that she would take some time off in the future to be able to spend more time in “the place that makes me happiest” – in other words, at home with the children.
“I take my job very seriously when I’m working,” Bullock said, adding that shooting a movie takes up all of her time, which conflicts with her priorities:
“All I want is to be home all the time with my kids and my family,” she said.
