Did you know that China has some exclusive cell phones? That is, some of the big manufacturers launch exclusive designs for that country. A year ago, Samsung, together with China Telecom, the country’s largest telephone operator, launched the W22, a luxury version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Now the famous leaker Ice Universeannounced that both companies are preparing two new models of the W family. According to the image (announcement) revealed by the leaker, we would be talking about the W23 which, according to the background, would be the luxury version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, some consider that the W23 would be the replacement in China for the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Following the leaked announcement, we see not one, but two folding phones: the W23 and the W23 Flip. Indeed, the company’s ‘Fold’ design appears first and next to it, the ‘Flip’ design. Said like this, Samsung and China Telecom would be thinking of the two luxury designs to replace the Flip 4 and the Fold 4. It should be remembered that the Samsung W23 and Samsung W23 Flip will be exclusive designs for sale in China.

Apparently, the Samsung W23 was published on the TENAA certifying website. In addition to the revealed poster, a list has been revealed confirming that the phone will be equipped with five cameras, a 4320 mAh battery and 5G connectivity. Being TENAA certified, we can assume that the launch in China will be very soon.
But, the truth is that, we can not expect many changes in both designs. For example, the main differences between the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the W22 launched in China last year are only its external colors, gold finishes and its price. Although aesthetically it is much more elegant, it does not have any changes or improvements at the virtual level.
