This Sunday, February 26, of Gerard Piqué’s Kings League was marked by Ronaldinho’s debut with Porcinos FC, a team from Ibai Llanos, against PIO FC, the squad of Mexican streamer Rivers. The legendary Brazilian player did not have a sweet debut, as he ended up losing the match 1-3 and refusing to execute a penalty, although with the highest number of views of the tournament so far.

The duel was always tied to zero in regular time and had to go to a penalty shootout. The problem was that the maximum penalties in this competition are executed differently.

A player must start from midfield and beat the rival goalkeeper one-on-one. In the transmission it was possible to appreciate the moment in which these indications were explained to a sweaty Ronaldinho who quickly declined the offer. “We are going to put others. I’m not going to be running, you’re crazy”, said ‘Dinho’.

The Brazilian played in the Cupra Arena in front of some 300 people, but in the transmission of the Kings League through the Twitch platform, a record number of viewers was achieved with two million people live.

The ex of the FC Barcelona saw him diminished by his physical condition and participated only in played of attack. Ronaldinho had practically no involvement in defensive tasks.

The expectation caused by the South American star was felt from minute one when he arrived at the pavilion in a limousine. Despite the fact that he didn’t start, ‘Dinho’ entered 5 minutes into the duel and the Arena stood up to applaud him.
