Infinix is a cell phone brand that may sound familiar to you, especially if you have recently been looking for a low budget cell phone. The brand has been in the country for a couple of years and has planted its flag with a proposal that is difficult to ignore: mid-range cell phones at a low-end price. This is the same promise they made this week with the launch of the Infinix Note 12 G96.
Let’s start with the power. The infinix arrives in the country with a MediaTek Helio G96 processor. It is a processor that we have seen in several low-cost computers and that so far has not really disappointed in terms of performance, with good response and fluidity when launching multiple applications simultaneously. Of course, stress tests are needed to confirm if this performance holds up with more demanding features and apps in combination with the Infinix customization layer.
The camera is the team’s biggest sacrifice. In our tests, the quality of the photos was rather average and even its super night mode left the final images ‘super’ edited with the quality varying (most times for the worse). The reason is that you only have two lenses: a 50MP main lens and a 2MP depth lens. What we mean is that if you are looking for a device to use as a camera… Infinix is not the brand to go for.
The battery and screen make up for this. It may not be the best cell phone to take photos, but at least you can enjoy the Instagram of someone with a better camera
