Despite Usyk’s announcement accepting Fury’s challenge, there is no specific date for this stellar fightbut what is certain is that it will happen and for the first time in history there will be a unified heavyweight champion.
“I accept your offer of 30-70 to fight on April 29 at Wembley Stadium, but you have to promise me that after the fight you will donate one million pounds to Ukraine and one percent of your winnings for every day you postpone the fight.“Usyk said through a video that he posted on his social networks.
Now fans can be sure that the fight will take place since the World Boxing Association reported that there was already an agreement between the parties. Notably Oleksandr Usyk is a champion of three organizations, WBA, WBO and IBF. For his part, Tyson Fury will defend the World Council (WBC) belt.
