On the fourteenth of December, Nick Cannon welcomed his twelfth child: a little daughter named Halo Marie Cannon. Halo is Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott’s second child – their son Zen was born in June 2021 but tragically passed away later that year.

“Our lives have changed forever”

During Thursday, Alyssa Scott talked about the feelings surrounding the birth of her daughter in a post on Instagram:

“Our lives have changed forever,” she wrote. “Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching us, he shows me signs every day. I will hold on to his memory forever.”

She continues: “I will remember the sound of Nick’s voice when he said ‘It’s a girl’ and how everything we went through together was written on his face. I will remember her first cry and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Hello Marie Cannon!”

Pays over $3 million a year in child support

With the birth of Halo, Cannon has five new children in 2022. In late July, Bre Tiesi gave birth to his eighth child, son Legendary, in September Lanisha Cole gave birth to his ninth child, daughter Onyx, and later that month Brittany Bell gave birth to his tenth child , the son of Rise Messiah. His eleventh child, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon, was born in November to Abby De La Rosa.

Earlier this year estimated American The Sun that Cannon pays a total of three million dollars a year in child support. According to Cannon himself, the true total is considerably higher:

“I definitely spend a lot more than that on my kids annually,” he continued The Neighborhood Talk in November. “I don’t plan on ever having to participate in the state child support system.”
