Nanoleaf launches five new Matter-compatible products

Nanoleaf, the global industry leader in smart lighting innovation and the original creators of the modular smart lighting category, is introducing five new Matter-compatible smart home products at CES 2023, including the company’s first learning smart light switch.

The Sense+ Controls range (Sense+ Smart Light Switch, Sense+ Wireless Smart Light Switch and Nala Learning Bridge), the Nanoleaf 4D TV Screen Mirror Camera and Lightstrips Kit, and the Nanoleaf Skylight modular ceiling fixture, will all be on display at CES 2023 – for the first time.

Nanoleaf 4D – TV Screen Mirror Camera and Lightstrips Starter Kit

Nanoleaf 4D takes your entertainment experience beyond the screen. The 4D TV Starter Kit comes with a camera that records the light and color of the screen, as well as a Matter-compatible Smart Addressable Lightstrip with new Sync+ technology, to turn your favorite movies and games into an immersive experience. With four selectable Screen Mirror modes and 50 influenceable zones on the light loop (5M length), users have complete freedom to customize their entertainment area. The camera can be placed on top or below the TV for flexibility, while the Lightstrip has an easy installation with click mounts and included self-adhesive material. Nanoleaf’s exclusive new Sync+ technology not only enables screen mirroring with your TV, but syncs your entire suite of Nanoleaf lighting products together, with the screen mirroring your favorite entertainment across the room. Sync+ also makes it possible to play dynamic lighting scenes across your Nanoleaf lighting array, synchronizing rich luminous colors and animations, so that a unified scene appears throughout the home.

The Nanoleaf 4D TV Starter Kit launches Q2 2023 and will be available in two length options: 55″-65″ and 70″-80″.

Sense+ Controls and “Nala” Automation Learning Assistant

Nanoleaf’s Sense+ Controls range offers the world’s first smart touchless lighting experience in the home. The Sense+ Controls range is Matter-enabled and runs on Thread, and includes the Smart Light Switch, Wireless Smart Light Switch and Nala Learning Bridge. All three products have built-in motion and light sensors to adapt the entire lighting in your home, automatically according to your daily routines and personal schedules. The Nala Learning Bridge works as a Thread Boarder Router, but also as a color changing night light with a soft glow when you just need a little light in the evenings.

The Sense+ products work together with Nanoleaf’s new intelligent Automation Learning Assistant, Nala, which “learns” your preferences based on your daily use and your routines. Nala is a powerful learning assistant that creates personalized automation and delivers perfect lighting when, how and where you want it. Enjoy preset actions, such as lighting on/off, seamless brightness and color adjustments, scene selection based on your preferences, and more. Nala’s automated learning technology is enabled via the Nala Learning Bridge, while existing Nanoleaf Thread Border Routers* will also be able to be upgraded to function as a Nala Bridge.

Sense+ Controls is the winner of this year’s CES Innovation Awards and will be launched in Q3 2023.

The Smart Light Switch is planned to arrive in 2024 in the EU.

Nanoleaf Skylight – Smart modular, recessed ceiling light

The Nanoleaf Skylight will be the first modular ceiling fixture of its kind to work with Matter. It offers users complete control over the location and coverage area of the ceiling light. Like Nanoleaf’s best-selling modular wall lighting products, the company aims to redefine the ceiling fixture category by designing ceiling lights with square, modular RGBW LED panels that can be arranged to create a variety of designs.

Controlled via Wifi, Skylight offers crisp functional white light for everyday use and over 16 million dynamic colors for ambient light, with smart features to adjust brightness, colors, color temperatures and schedule settings. Skylight comes with all the smart features that Nanoleaf users have come to know and love, including Rhythm Music Visualizer, Screen Mirror, Dynamic Light Scenes and Group Scenes. The modular ceiling fixture also doubles as a Thread Boarder Router and comes with built-in Sense+ sensors, which enable motion and light detection for expanded possibilities for automated lighting in your home. Nanoleaf Skylight will be launched Q3 2023.

Essentials Bulbs & Lightstrips – first “Thread Over Matter” lighting

The Matter-certified Essentials lamps (A19, BR30, GU10 and a recessed downlight) and Lightstrip illuminate your entire home with crisp functional white light, as well as rich dynamic colors and scenes. They are made for everyday lighting while offering fascinating animations to create the perfect atmosphere for various activities.
