Lionel Messi is one of the best footballers in history and his sporting successes generate admiration around the world. Despite the fact that in Argentina he was constantly criticized, “La Pulga” gave the nation the World Cup that they demanded so much. From criticism to full admirationto the point that players are able to change their lives to play with the PSG footballer, one of them is Nahuel Guzmán.
The “Patón” launched a direct threat to the UANL Tigres board. The South American goalkeeper assured that he will leave Liga MX in case Lionel Messi arrives at Newell’s Old Boys to play in Argentine soccer.
“If Messi goes to Newell’s I go with him and here (in Mexico) they think I’m screwing them. It was a blessing to meet the man behind the genius. Thank you for answering each little message: in the middle of a Copa América or a World Cup. He seems like an unattainable guy and sharing some mates with him has no explanation.“, recognized Guzmán in a statement released by Radio 2.
Nahuel Guzmán supports Gerardo Martino
After several months of the Mexican disappointment in the World Cup in Qatar 2022, Nahuel Guzmán offered his point of view. The “Patón” does not agree with the excessive criticism of Gerardo Martino and recalled that El Tri was left out of the World Cup only by one goal. The UANL Tigres goalkeeper also revealed his appreciation for Tata.
“I consider the criticism too unfair of his work. Beyond the fact that the result in the Qatar 2022 World Cup was not as expected, they just didn’t qualify by one goal. The ‘Tata’ is like a soccer father. He bankrolled me at a difficult time. I appreciate your advice and support. Time will cross us again“, he concluded.
