andreina martinezrepresentative of the Dominican Republic in the Miss Universe beauty pageant continues in the midst of controversy after being second finalist, because during a recent visit to the Telemundo program ‘La Mesa Caliente’ he would have implied that the best qualifications were focused on Miss USA because most of the juries belong to that country.
It all happened when the presenters questioned her about her dual nationality, because in reality she is also American, so, when asked: “Do you think that if you had represented the United States of America today you would have that crown?”, she did not have no choice but to accept it.
“Who knows maybe. If he had had the band from the United States, he might have won“An answer that for many was taken as a resounding yes to fraud in Miss Universe.
Although the result did not favor her on this occasion, the Dominican model confesses that she met her goal and is very proud of the achievement she obtained personally, but also with her country.
“I felt like I did my job, I felt empowered at every moment. We know that the judges have their own criteria and look for something different, so I feel proud of what I did”, she explained.
