Working as a minor apprentice cannot harm the student performance of the young person who is part of it, in addition, the candidate must be up to 22 years old to start the program, since, as the contract lasts for up to 2 years, he must be completing 24 years at the end of the contract, it is not possible for young people aged 24 to start the program because at the end of the contract, they would be 26 years old, exceeding the age limit for the smallest apprentice.

The salary base of the apprentice minor law is calculated according to their working hours and weekly hours based on the workload, considering periods of 6 and 8 hours a day.

The main rights of the minor apprentice are:

  • Maximum workday of 6 hours per day for Elementary School students and 8 hours for High School students,

And the duties of the minor apprentice are:

Even though it is a CLT contract, the law of the minor apprentice has some limitations, such as: the contract must last from 11 to 24 months, and cannot be reduced or increased.

At the end of this period, the company will be able to hire the young apprentice and extend his participation to the staff, or it can simply dismiss him.
