‘Maestro’: Netflix reveals Bradley Cooper look for film and shocks fans

Netflix released on Monday (30) never-before-seen photos of Bradley Cooper as Leonard Bernstein, a composer and pianist whose life will be told through the biopic “Maestro”. In one of the images, the actor appeared much older and unrecognizable, which impressed netizens on Twitter. Check it out below!

In addition to being the protagonist, Cooper is also the director of “Maestro”, which is his first project since “A Star Is Born” (2018), a success that he starred alongside Lady Gaga. Along with the actor, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and Todd Phillips collaborate in the production. The cast includes Carey Mulligan, of “Beautiful Vengeance”, Maya Hawke, of “Stranger Things”, and Jeremy Strong, of “Sucession” (HBO).

“I said to him, ‘I’ve always felt like I could play a conductor, but can I research this material and see if I can write and direct? Would you let me do this?’ Steven has a lot of interests — he just picks one thing and pauses everything else. I think he knew it would take him a while to make this movie. He was kind enough to give it to me, and that’s what I’ve been doing for the past four and a half years,” Cooper said in an interview with Variety.

Bernstei is considered one of the most influential figures in the history of American classical music.

Still no exact date, “Maestro” should debut on Netflix sometime in 2023.
