LIV CoLife with 71 new rooms in Porto for digital nomads

VALEO Groupe is committed to the LIV CoLife concept and added 71 more rooms to the city of Porto. For digital nomads arriving in Portugal.

The concept of digital nomads is almost unknown to the Portuguese public. The trend of workers traveling from country to country, favoring digital work, has won fans all over the world.

At the beginning of 2022, in the United States of America, this community already had more than 10 million members, 50% more than in the previous year. Portugal, due to its natural conditions and government incentives, has positioned itself as one of the most attractive destinations for digital nomads.

In Portugal, the revision of the Foreigners Law, applied at the end of October 2022, made our country even more attractive for digital nomads. The residence visa allows foreigners to stay for one year in Portugal to work remotely for an individual or company with domicile or headquarters outside the national territory.

This review will facilitate the arrival of digital nomads in Portugal and, specifically, in the city of Porto, which grows every year in terms of tourism, having been elected the Best City Destination in the World 2022 by the World Travel Awards.

The worldwide recognition together with the mild climate, gastronomy, affordable prices and welcoming people make Porto an obvious choice for digital nomads.

LIV CoLife: three typologies

To respond to the growing scenario in the Portuguese business landscape, LIV CoLife, the new VALEO Groupe brand dedicated to the concept of colivingbrings its concept to the city of Porto.

With 71 rooms, this project was designed to respond to all the needs of young professionals who want to live the LIV CoLife experience in facilities that include spaces for coworkinggym, study rooms, living and rest areas, common kitchens, among others.

LIV CoLife features three different typologies:

– CoLife Suites: rooms with private bathroom, bed queen size, work desk, ergonomic chair, storage cupboard, mini fridge, microwave and dining area. In this typology, residents share a social kitchen fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, stove, extractor hood and large fridges.

– superior studios: format studios open spacewith bed queen size, work desk, ergonomic chair and storage cupboard. In this typology there is an integrated kitchen, equipped with microwave, hob and extractor and mini fridge.

– Premium Studios: apartment with one bedroom, equipped with a bed queen size, work desk, ergonomic chair and storage cupboard. In this typology, the kitchen, which is in a separate room, is equipped with a microwave, hob and extractor hood and a mini fridge.

The three typologies described above have a private toilet and access to all common areas of the building such as the gym, spaces coworking, social rooms and social kitchens. Taking into account the type chosen and the duration of the contracts, the values ​​may vary between 500 and 900 euros per month.

Currently in high demand, LIV CoLife is already coming to life with residents arriving from all over the world, with Germany, France and Brazil being the nationalities with the highest percentage of residence occupancy.
