VALEO Groupe is committed to the LIV CoLife concept and added 71 more rooms to the city of Porto. For digital nomads arriving in Portugal.
The concept of digital nomads is almost unknown to the Portuguese public. The trend of workers traveling from country to country, favoring digital work, has won fans all over the world.
At the beginning of 2022, in the United States of America, this community already had more than 10 million members, 50% more than in the previous year. Portugal, due to its natural conditions and government incentives, has positioned itself as one of the most attractive destinations for digital nomads.
In Portugal, the revision of the Foreigners Law, applied at the end of October 2022, made our country even more attractive for digital nomads. The residence visa allows foreigners to stay for one year in Portugal to work remotely for an individual or company with domicile or headquarters outside the national territory.
This review will facilitate the arrival of digital nomads in Portugal and, specifically, in the city of Porto, which grows every year in terms of tourism, having been elected the Best City Destination in the World 2022 by the World Travel Awards.
The worldwide recognition together with the mild climate, gastronomy, affordable prices and welcoming people make Porto an obvious choice for digital nomads.
