The government of the Federal District released this Thursday (2) the list of beneficiaries of the Gas Card. The program, managed by the Secretariats for Social Development (Sedes) and Economy (SEEC), will provide R$100 every two months to help low-income families purchase a 13-kg cooking gas cylinder and will benefit 70,000 people. With the cylinder costing around R$95, many families have had difficulties in maintaining their homes, making the granting of a gas voucher something increasingly recurrent in Brazil.
