If you’ve spent any time on TikTok over the past few weeks, you can hardly have failed to notice the trend of recreating the dance scene in Wednesday. Now even Lady Gaga has jumped on the trend.
The series Wednesday has been a hit on Netflix since it premiered at the end of November 2022. In one of the most noticed scenes from the series, lead actress Jenna Ortega performs a choreography that has become immensely popular on social media.

Interprets the viral trend in new clip
The scene has inspired scores of TikTok users to recreate the choreography in their own videos. However, many have chosen to forego the song played in the original – “Goo Goo Muck” by The Cramps – to instead use an up-speeded version of Lady Gaga’s song “Bloody Mary” from 2011.
According to Independent has Lady Gaga’s song used in a staggering 1.4 million videos in the past few weeks, and now the artist herself has jumped on the trend.
Last week, the star posted her own version of the dance on her TikTok account. In the black and white video, she has her hair in two braids and wears her own interpretation of the character’s school uniform. Under the video she has written: “BLOODY WEDNESDAY”.
As expected, the clip immediately received a great response and at the time of writing it has a whopping 12.6 million views. Check it out below!
