Greg Vanney, coach of the LA Galaxy, assured that Javier Chicharito Hernández would not reach the top for the Clasico del Tráficoreason for which said match would be lost, which means the team’s debut at the start of a new MLS season.
Hernández Balcázar’s situation has been evaluated day by day, without forcing recovery, after the problems caused by a hamstring injury. Faced with this reality, Gregg Vanney was questioned about the presence of the Aztec striker and his response was: “The tendency is that he is not available this weekend“.
“In a training session last week, he showed irritation in the hamstring area. Upon returning to training she felt that something was not right. We are trying to evaluate“, continued Gregg Vanney. “The last game he played he started feeling symptoms, so to speak, and since then it’s been a work in progress, always trying to feel better. Now we are in that process“, he reiterated.
Javier Chicharito Hernández is the LA Galaxy’s top scorer in the last two seasons in which he has scored a total of 35 goals in 53 official matches with the club. Dejan Joveljic, would be in charge of replacing Chicharito in the Traffic Classic, in case the Mexican does not arrive in condition for the match.
