It was last October that Khloé Kardashian revealed why she had been seen with a patch on one cheek in recent times: she had suffered from a tumor on her face.
Khloé Kardashian: “No one is safe from things like this”
Kardashian had initially thought the bump was a pimple, but since it refused to go away, she decided to get it checked out. It then turned out that the lump was something completely different.
“A few days later I found out that I needed surgery immediately to remove a tumor from my face,” she wrote, sharing that the procedure had gone well.
In conjunction with the news, the reality star took the opportunity to urge her fans to take care of themselves:
“I’m a person who wears sunscreen every day, without exception, so no one is safe from things like this. Please take this seriously and do regular self-examinations as well as your annual check-ups.”
Updated the fans on Instagram
Now Kardashian’s 295 million followers on Instagram have received an update on her health. Khloé recently posted a gym selfie on the platform, answering a follower’s question about the patch she had on her face.
“What the hell is that on your cheek,” the person asked.
“A bandage,” Kardashian replied. “I had a tumor removed from my face but it’s perfectly fine. Thanks for asking.”
In another comment, Khloé talked about the reason why she wears the patch:
“I wear it to speed up the healing process and to prevent the scar from getting worse. Everything is fine and healing great.”
