Julia Franzén became famous through her participation in television programs such as “Robinson” and “Bachelorette” where she searched for love. She never found it then, but today she has instead found love in entertainment profile and photographer Bingo Rimér.

Now she takes over as presenter for the dating program Love Island Sweden. Julia Franzén is convinced that she will benefit from her previous experiences in television in her new role as presenter. She says to Aftonbladet: “It was obvious to say yes. I had to test film and didn’t know I would be good at it, but it went very well because it becomes so easy when you realize that you just have to be yourself.” She also says that she is looking forward to following the participants’ search for love.

The winning couple in Love Island receives half a million kroner as a prize and the viewers can also participate in deciding who will be voted out and who will date. Julia Franzén takes over from host Malin Gramer.

When does Love Island 2023 premiere?

Love Island Sweden 2023 premieres on TV4 Play and Sjuan on Monday, January 23. The premiere episode will also be shown on TV4 on the day of the premiere, and then broadcast on Seven in linear television.
