Jennifer Lopez has made a big change on social media this week, especially on Instagram: the star has deleted all her posts on the platform, where at the time of writing she has a staggering 226 million followers. In addition, she has changed her profile picture to a completely black picture, something she has also done on Twitter and TikTok.

What is behind this change is not yet known, but according to Harper’s Bazaar isn’t it completely unusual for celebrities to remove posts before a major launch. Lopez is currently busy with the films Shotgun Weddinga romantic comedy premiering on Prime Video in January, and the thriller The Mother which premieres on Netflix in May.
Lopez – who officially changed her last name to Affleck when she married Ben Affleck earlier this year – signed a multi-year contract with Netflix in June 2021 with the aim of creating films, TV series and other content that focuses on female actors, writers and directors.
She also runs the production company Nuyorican Productions together with producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, according to this Sky News.
