More than 10 years after the death of Jenni RiveraThey have not stopped creating projects to reveal details of their lives. Up to now, 4 series have been made, but now they have blown it up because they are preparing a movie of “The Diva of the Band”.
The singer who died on December 9, 2012 is an icon of female empowerment and regional Mexican music, for these and other reasons her story will be taken to the big screen.
The famous grupera music channel Bandamax announced that the film will soon be released about the “Gran Señora”, a project by the director Gigi Saul Guerrero, known in the seventh art as “The doll of terror”who shared an image on his official Instagram account in which he holds the filming clapperboard.
Some of the details that are known about the new film is that it will be called “Jenni” and according to reports it will be until March of this 2023 when the information is given officially about the development of the scenes of the filmthe actors in the cast and the star in charge of impersonating the interpreter of “I already know”, “When a lady dies” and “Los ovarios”.
Another thing that is known about the filming is that it will have locations in Colombia, but recreated to look like Los Angeles, California, since it is the city where Jenni spent much of her life.
And in which she began her stage as a regional Mexican singer to later establish herself as one of the greatest exponents of banda, ranchera and mariachi music.
It has also not been disclosed if Chiquis Rivera or any of Jenni’s children agree or disagree with this production or if they granted their authorization for their mother’s name to be used, since after death, they are the only ones owners of the star brand.
“Jenni: The Life of a Diva” It was the first project in which the life of Jenni Rivera was discussed, it consists of 10 episodes and was produced by Estrella TV.
The story is based on the book “Unbreakable” and it was released on November 15, 2013 and was well received by fans, although it did not become their favorite.
