In June 2022, world artist Shakira and her boyfriend of eleven years, soccer player Gerard Piqué, went their separate ways.
The reason for the breakup is said to have been infidelity on Piqué’s part, and now another detail from the couple’s last time together has been revealed: According to Daily Mail Shakira discovered Piqué’s infidelity because of an empty jam jar.

It was when the artist came home from a trip and found an empty jam jar in the fridge – despite neither the boyfriend nor their children liking that type of jam – that she realized an outsider had been in the house.
Shakira appears to reference this incident in the music video for her single “Te Felicito”, where the star opens a fridge and finds a severed head. The single came out in April 2022, i.e. a couple of months before the couple officially separated.
“Te Felicito” isn’t the only one of Shakira’s latest songs to be about her ex. The single “Tiraera Pa Gerard Pique #53”, as recently broke records on YouTubeis also about the soccer player and his affair with 23-year-old Clara Chia Marti.
