Jabra launches PanaCast 50 Video Bar System, an Android collaboration bar that complements Jabra’s range for small and medium-sized meeting rooms. The system offers a set of flexible and scalable setup options for a better collaboration experience in Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms, among others.
Jabra, the industry leader in audio and office solutions, now launches the PanaCast 50 Videobar System as part of Jabra’s PanaCast 50 series for various meeting rooms.
The system is an integrated Android-based solution with system-on-chip (SOCs), speakers, microphones, video camera, and network and display interfaces for easy installation. The solution comes with a 10.1-inch touch control to manage the room experience. The complete series has flexible installation options to provide the best collaboration experience with an integrated solution on Android, a modular solution on Windows through PanaCast 50 Room Systems with Lenovo and Crestron or a BYOD solution with PanaCast 50.
The PanaCast 50 Video Bar System offers the same award-winning user experience as the other two solutions in the series. The system has coverage of the entire room with its unique Panoramic-4K multi-camera matrix with a 180° field of view that provides a true-to-life representation of the people in the room. It also has eight microphones with voice detection and intelligent algorithms that automatically identify and remove residual echoes and static, as well as four speakers in a vibration-free stereo setup. At the same time, the intelligent meeting room experience, which includes Virtual Director, Intelligent Zoom and Dynamic Composition, enables engaged participation even remotely.
The PanaCast 50 Video Bar System is designed to adapt to the UC experiences and needs of hybrid workplaces with its AI-powered software-defined platform. Above all, it is easy to install, manage and use with everything needed for video conferencing embedded in PanaCast Control. Start and connect with a single push without the need for any additional devices, enabling simple, secure and scalable use in any small to medium-sized room.
– We have an urgent need to improve collaboration in times of hybrid work. Our research* shows that meeting fairness has a strong impact on an employee’s experience, well-being and productivity levels. The addition of the PanaCast 50 Video Bar System as a room solution to the Jabra PanaCast range – with the already delivered BYOD and room system solutions – can significantly enhance the hybrid meeting experience. The Jabra PanaCast 50 series covers the entire spectrum of business needs for small and medium-sized meeting rooms. We want to facilitate simple discussions and encourage innovation among meeting platforms regardless of location, says Aurangzeb Khan, SVP of Intelligent Vision Systems at Jabra.
The PanaCast 50 Video Bar System is available from June 2023.
