It is estimated that approximately 50.4 million adults would be betting the impressive amount of $16,000 million dollars during Super Bowl LVII, which will take place next Sunday, February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The information was confirmed by the United States Gaming Industry Association, American Gaming Association (AGA).
Said calculation corresponds to the legal bookmakers and also to the illegal bookmakers that are present in each event of this magnitude. As determined by the AGA, bettors would be divided practically evenly; with 44% betting on the Chiefs and the same percentage would be betting on the Philadelphia Eagles.
These figures have been sold by pairing after the Eagles led until last week with a slight advantage of 1.5 points of difference.
“Each year the Super Bowl serves to highlight the benefits of legal sports betting. Likewise, sports media are experiencing increased participation and operators are driving the necessary tax revenue for states across the country.”, said Bill Miller, president and CEO of the American Gaming Association in statements reviewed by EFE.
It is estimated that the percentage of bets with respect to the Super Bowl last year will increase by 62%a phenomenon that according to experts, is due to the fact that the great sporting event will take place for the first time in a state where sports betting is completely legal, it should be noted that in the United States, betting is legal in 33 states.
