Homemade Hair Masks with Milk – Easy, Cheap and Effective

1) For hydration and straightening with milk only

In itself, the milk of commerce (what we buy as fresh) has excellent action and power. Makes hair straight – of course if you have curly wool, you won’t get a straight nail, of course. It deeply hydrates and nourishes it. For these reasons it is worth trying this one of the homemade hair masks with milk.

Very simple, on dry and unpolished hair up to 2 days (we don’t want it to be heavily lubricated that it is), you spill milk. As much as you think it takes to get all your hair wet. You have two options: either play from the waist down or everywhere, that is, to the roots. Try it once for the middle of the length and the next for the whole to see how your hair holds up. If it doesn’t weigh, doesn’t “stick” to the head and doesn’t cause greasiness, then put it everywhere! Otherwise, just from the waist down.

Every time, you need to have some time with the milk in your hair. At least it’s 15 minutes. But to see good results, repeat 1 time every 10 days and leave it for at least 30 minutes. At the end, you rinse it off with lots of water, as long as it’s not hot. You shower normally.

2) To shine, remove any dry skin and facilitate smoothing with milk and lemon

Coconut milk preferred by many people can also be easily used in hair care. so the 2O of homemade milky hair masks contains this (coconut milk) and a little squeezed lemon. Final result of the first uses: hair straightening, contributing to any dry skin and hair shine.

Squeeze 1/2 large lemon or 1 small lemon into 1/2 cup of fresh milk. Stir a little and spread over dry hair, bathed at least 1 day before. Pour the mixture all over your head and hair. If you have the time and the mood, you can go over it with the tufts mixture – tufts with the help of a brush. Just like hair dye, that is. Let the mask act for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove with plenty of lukewarm water (not hot) and shower with your shampoo normally. Repeat 1 to 2 times a month.

3) For lifeless and lifeless hair, wanting volume and shine with honey, milk and olive oil

Honey has the ability to retain moisture. Therefore, it is extremely beneficial for dry, wild, damaged and dyed hair (especially if it has undergone bleaching). Milk, with the protein it contains abundantly, helps to maintain the hair’s structure. And so it makes it strong and resistant to breakage and split ends. In addition to protein, milk is known to contain a lot of calcium. Thus, it plays an important role in the production of keratin, the main substance of this hair. As far as olive oil is concerned, it contributes to the control of oiliness – dry scalp skin. At the same time, it deeply moisturizes and nourishes the hair thanks to vitamins A and E and the monounsaturated fats it contains.

  • 1 full tablespoon of honey – if it is crystallized, heat it first,
  • 2 – 3 tablespoons of olive oil and
  • 80 – 100 ml of fresh commercial milk.

Procedure for its preparation and use:

Heat the milk slightly so your honey can melt more easily. You withdraw from the fire. In the same pan, add the honey and mix with a fork very well so that it is mixed with the hot milk. Finally, add all 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Stir again a bit to produce an even mixture, as smooth as a hair mask can be.

Make sure you have washed your hair 1-3 days beforehand. And so, after applying the mask to bathe them again. Then you spread the mixture all over. From the roots to the edges. Leave for 20-30 minutes and rinse with plenty of medium temperature water. Shower as usual, as long as you don’t use any mask, cream, emollient and the like. Just your shampoo. Repeat 1 to 2 times a month.

4) Scented mask with 4 ingredients for natural hair straightening

And we call it “fragrant” because of the strawberry it contains and gives a freshness to whoever wears it! From the first application, but also with repetitions, you get a naturally straighter wool. This one of the homemade milk hair masks requires 4 ingredients: strawberries, olive oil, honey and of course fresh milk. More specifically:

  • 1 cup fresh Greek coffee milk,
  • 4 – 5 washed strawberries, without the stem,
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil and
  • 1 teaspoon of honey.

Because you might be worried about the honey in your hair, know that it’s completely pure and… harmless! If it’s too thick (crystalline), heat it up before using it. However, within all the mixing, it will stop being as sticky as you might fear for your hair.

Procedure for its preparation and use:

To start, mash the strawberries in a blender. Add milk, oil and honey to it. Whisk for a while until the 4 ingredients are well mixed. Once you have ready one of the best homemade hair masks with milk and strawberries! Dry and at least 1-2 days before washing your hair, spread the mixture all over. From the roots, along the entire length, to the edges. Wait 20 to 45 minutes, depending on how much time you have and your appetite. Rinse very well and shower with your shampoo. You can repeat up to 3 times a month.

If you have a lot of wool (dense and long) you will need to increase the amounts a little. You can pretty much fold them up to cover all the hair.

5) To restore hair after it has been destroyed (due to bleaching, pressing, etc.), toning and smoothing, with 4 ingredients

It is one of the best and most used homemade hair masks with milk, honey, egg and olive oil. The mixture of these four materials can be seen… Savings! If you have damaged your hair enough from elastic bands and tight braids, from bleaching and dyeing, from bathing in the sea, from heat, etc., try this mask – treatment.

  • 2 tbsp honey, whatever you have – if it was sugary or too thick, it would be easier for you to heat it up for a while,
  • 30 ml of olive oil,
  • 80 ml fresh whole fat milk and
  • 1 raw egg yolk. (Be patient with your scent!)

Procedure for its preparation and use:

For starters, beat the yolk of an egg, just like you would beat eggs to make scrambled eggs. In this plate/bowl, add the milk and beat some more. Then add your olive oil and honey in the appropriate amounts and stir for the last time. Regarding honey, you can for ease of management and use first heated to have been liquefied.

Spread the mixture on dry hair, washed at least 24 hours in advance. You wait 30 minutes or more if you have a mood and time. Apply shampoo everywhere, massage in the oil and egg smell, and rinse with warm water. So first shampoo and then water. DO NOT pour water at first. Because it will be difficult to leave the smell of the egg and the greasy whole milk and oil. Repeat as often as you like, up to 2 times a week for a few weeks when you want to fight the problem.
