GoContact recorded its best year ever and will recruit another 40 staff to join a team of close to 200 people.
Go Contact, a Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solutions company based in Aveiro, announced that its recurring billing increased by 30% in 2022 compared to the previous year, totaling 8.7 million euros.
The Portuguese market was decisive for this growth, having seen strong domestic demand from large leading companies in sectors such as finance, health, distribution, retail or energy.
In international markets, GoContact is present in Spain, Morocco, Angola, some countries in Latin America, such as Colombia, Peru and Mexico and, more recently, in the USA, as a result of the connection to a new shareholder of the company, Broadvoice, which acquired the company in 2021.
Globally, the company serves multinationals such as Adecco, Atento, Intelcia, Konecta, Manpower, Randstad, Transcom, Webhelp, among others. .
“We continue to invest in the national market, in which we will double the investment in 2022-2023. We are convinced that the international markets will be the next impulse for GoContact and that soon we will have exports representing half of the turnover” says Rui Marques, CEO and founder of GoContact.
Recruitment will continue
To respond to this expected growth, the technology company wants to recruit more than 40 professionals in the first half of this year. The vast majority of these staff will be used to reinforce the Research and Development (R&D) area, but also the commercial areas inside and outside Portugal.
“Since 2021, we have recruited an average of 40 people per year and 2023 will be no exception. Without talent we will not be able to follow our global growth plan”, considers Rui Marques.
And the person in charge adds: “We are looking for proactive professionals, passionate about the projects they embrace, with a high capacity for self-motivation and team collaboration, people oriented to goals, resilient, with the versatility to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment”.
