Gerardo Martino was not in the best shape of the Mexican National Team. The Argentine strategist failed on the bench of El Tri and after a terrible participation in the World Cup in Qatar, he stepped aside. But the “Tata” link with Mexico could continue. The South American coach has been in the UANL Tigres radar.
The board of directors of the feline group stood idly by when they saw how the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) took away Diego Cocca. This agreement completely destroyed the UANL Tigres project. But the feline board would insist on Argentine strategies for its bench. Even though she left through the back door of El Tri, Gerardo Martino has a great career behind him.
