A few months ago, the first images of what would be the next Galaxy Z Fold 4, Samsung’s next folding phone, were revealed; at that time we announced that we could expect the ship between August and September. Now, it seems that we have a much clearer date. If the revealed leaks are real, we are only a month away from knowing not only the Galaxy Z Fold 4, but the Galaxy Flip 4.
Evan Blass, a well-known leaker with a considerably high hit rate, shared on his Twitter profile, an image where we see the Galaxy Z Flip 4 blurred and a date: August 10. In the image you can also read ‘Galaxy Unpacked’, the name of its annual event where the new members of the company are revealed. Said like this, it would make a lot of sense that this is the reveal date of the clamshell phone (Flip 4) and the cell phone that will debut a screen that unfolds horizontally (Fold 4).

For its part, Samsung has not officially announced the launch date. However, we already know that the company makes its announcements during the month of August. What is an enigma are the specifications of both devices. At the moment, we only know that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 could include flat frames, similar to the design of the iPhone 13; however, the phone must respect the “clamshell” format.
In fact, if the images revealed a few months ago match the model, one of the main differences between Flip 3 and Flip 4 is the camera module. The sensors would apparently be integrated into the same chassis, just like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. As for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the flexible screen is expected to have a less visible crease that appears when the device is fully unfolded. As for the processor, being high-end phones, they are expected to have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or failing that, the Samsung Exynos 2200.
