Full-year revenue increased by 94 percent

ChargePoint Holdings is a leading global charging network for electric vehicles. Last week, the company presented its Q4 and annual report for the fiscal year 2022, which ended on January 31, 2023.

ChargePoint reports revenue of $152.8 million for the fourth quarter, which represents an increase of 93% compared to the fourth quarter last year, when revenue was $79.3 million. For the full year, revenue was $468.1 million, up 94% from $241 million the previous year.

“ChargePoint delivered its largest sequential revenue growth to date and another record quarter, albeit below our revenue guidance, as supply challenges for our DC solutions and supply challenges at the end of the quarter sustained growth,” said Pasquale Romano, CEO and President of ChargePoint. “We continued to expand our technology and market leadership position across North America and Europe this year, while growing our full-year revenue 94% year-over-year and delivering an improved gross margin and better return on our operating expenses as we move toward profitability.”

ChargePoint’s expected revenue for the current quarter, ending April 30, 2023, is $122-$132 million, representing a projected increase of 56% compared to the same quarter last year.
