Frenda wins procurement for record system for Folktandvården

Frenda announces that the company has won a tender to provide record systems for the Public Dental Service in up to six regions. Among these are Örebro, Östergötland, Blekinge and Sörmland with options on Kalmar and Kronoberg. The agreement runs for seven years with the possibility of extension for a further six years. According to a press release, the procurement value amounts to SEK 209,722,600.

Frenda today has over 5,000 daily users and customers of various sizes, ranging from the largest private dental care players to the individual practitioner. With the company winning the region-wide procurement “Future-proof dental care system”, the entire Swedish dental care market, both private and public, is now being addressed.

– We are incredibly proud to have won this procurement and been awarded a very exciting assignment where we provide both record systems and technical expertise. We are very much looking forward to collaborating with Public Dental Care and the regions, says Fredrik Jernberg, CEO of Frenda.

Frenda is a complete and scalable journal platform. A comprehensive solution that seamlessly integrates the web time book and X-ray with advanced business systems with connections to the Social Insurance Agency and central financial and quality systems. The system is continuously developed and new solutions and services are continuously integrated.

– The journal system has been developed in close collaboration with active dentists who require functionality and stability. The system is completely cloud-based and is at the forefront of technology through its many smart functions. The ultimate aim of the platform is to reduce the need for time-consuming administration and give more time for care, says Fredrik Jernberg.

In addition to Frenda, three more suppliers participated in the procurement. Frenda was the tenderer who received the most added value points out of all tenders received and will now deliver record systems to the Public Dental Care organizations in Region Örebro County, Region Östergötland, Region Blekinge and Public Dental Care in Sörmland AB. In the procurement, there is also an option for Region Kalmar County and Region Kronoberg.

– In total, it is about delivering journal systems for up to 3,600 users in more than 110 businesses spread over four or six regions. It is an extensive and important task, says Fredrik Jernberg.

The procurement value amounts to SEK 209,722,600, including extension and options. The contract period begins when the contract is signed and thereafter runs for a total of seven years with the possibility of extension for a maximum of six years, divided into three occasions with the equivalent of up to 24 months at a time.

The allocation decision can be reviewed until November 21. Agreements can then be signed.
