Stanley Wilson Jr, former NFL player, died after collapsing at the psychiatric hospital where he was kept. The aforementioned former player was 40 years old and played for three seasons with the Detroit Lions team, in addition He was facing charges of vandalism for which he was arrested.
However, a court declared him mentally incompetent to stand trial, which is why he was admitted to a hospital with people with mental health problems. There were several times that Stanley Wilson Jr. faced justice; in 2016 he was accused of attempted robbery and in 2017 he was arrested for moving completely naked to another neighborhood.
An Achilles tendon injury ended Wilson Jr’s career in 2008, a career with the Detroit Lions that did not last long and that would later lead the player to be involved in various scandals. It should be remembered that his father was Stanley Wilson Sr, a former player who served as a running back for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Stanley Wilson was selected by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft, however his career was lightning and his life ended at the early age of 40.
