Banco do Brasil started to work with reduced hours in its branches during the period of one year. However, according to the Brazilian Federation of Banks (February), it is possible that BB will resume operating at its usual hours soon, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

With the rise in cases in the Covid-19 pandemic, Febraban advised that all banks operate from 9 am to 2 pm, with availability from 9 am to 10 am for priority service to groups at risk of the disease.

After the easing and reopenings, the association endorsed banks to define their own opening hours. Santander and Caixa are already operating at their usual hours.
