Expomecânica walks towards the biggest edition ever

The event takes place at Exponor, from April 14th to 16th, and has aroused keen interest among companies in the sector.

expoMECÂNICA – Equipment, Services and Auto Parts Exhibition promises the biggest fair ever in the 8th edition of the event, now with periodicity
biennial, to be held from April 14th to 16th, at Exponor- Feira Internacional do Porto.

In 2023, the event expands the exhibition area to another pavilion (8,000 square meters) and responds to the growing demand of the Iberian market.

The excellent results achieved in the 2021 edition, despite the still pandemic context, and the interest of companies in the Iberian space in the Portuguese event reinforce the plans for a sustained internationalization of expoMECÂNICA.

“We are responding to a broader market, especially the Spanish one, as a result of
changing the frequency of the fair and expanding the space for another pavilion”,
says José Manuel Costa, director general of Kikai Eventos, organizer of the event.

In this 8th edition, it will once again be up to Kikai to lead the fate of the aftermaket
national to the great fair of the Iberian Peninsula. The Salon continues to write its success story, leveraged on the trust and recognition of the entire fabric
business.

Many exhibitors (180 companies) are already at the forefront (80% of the area
reserved) and guarantee a place in four available pavilions (24,000 m2) in
Exponor, in Matosinhos. This year’s edition maintains the line of growth,
adding eight thousand square meters to the exhibition area.

With each new edition, the organization adds to the event much more than a
number. “We go much further than a traditional fair”, says the general director,
explaining that it is important for the Salon to “reinvent and explore new approaches”.

The objective is to provide the best experience, through initiatives that captivate the
presence of professionals on the days of the event. “We are very committed to
mark the difference. We want to surprise with new ideas in each edition. All
initiatives that we are preparing aim to provide dynamics and added value to
who participates and visits us”, he adds.

Final of the Best Mechatronics 2023

Until the doors open, from April 14th to 16th, expoMECÂNICA 2023 will receive
contributions to boost the dynamics of the fair, sustained, as has become usual, in its range of parallel activities.

Training assumes, once again, in the April edition, a «continuous and
uninterrupted» over the three days of the event, as well as the spaces for debate
on the main themes and concerns of the sector.

One of the initiatives sponsored by the fair and already on the agenda is the competition dedicated to mechatronics. The grand final of the competition “The Best Mechatronic 2023” by Jornal
das Oficinas, in partnership with ATEC, will be held at expoMECÂNICA.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see the competitors’ performance live, and
thus getting to know better the profession of automotive mechatronics. The goal
involves publicizing the profession, valuing it.

With a guarantee of success and strong participation, the fair maintains the cycle of
expoTalks conferences, Demotec by Cepra demos and the program
Eina Training, signed by Eina. This initiative caught the attention of professionals last year, its debut year, and it’s back.
