- Place the minced chicken meat in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Then we remove the crust from the soft bread slice and add it to the bowl along with the minced meat. We add some milk. The brains and the milk will give them that creaminess we want, inside the chicken nugget. Add, if desired, the cheese and mix everything with the help of your hand or a spoon, until everything is well integrated. Then you can let it rest for a few minutes in the fridge so that the dough is compacted.
- Now, with our hands, we take a small portion of the dough, flatten it a little, giving it that characteristic nugget shape and pass it through flour, egg and breadcrumbs (in that order).
- We fry them in oil over high heat, or if you prefer, you can also bake them in the Air Fryer.
- Remove from the oil and let it rest for 1 minute on a paper towel. And they are ready! A home-made fast food dish, something that is always appreciated.
As a suggestion, you can use the chicken nuggets homemade with barbecue sauce and some good fries.
