Viruses that attack banking systems are constant threats that invade the daily lives of those who use Android. The top ten trojans have already reached 639 financial solutions applications in the world. Viruses invade the system presenting themselves as utility apps, whether photos or filters for social networks, not to mention games or fake versions of apps and software.
A survey by the digital security company Zimperium shows that the United States is the main target of hackers. There alone, 121 financial institutions were targeted by malware. Then comes the UK, Italy, Turkey and Australia.
Among the apps, cybercriminals prioritized attacking PhonePe, from India, followed by Binance and the North American Cash App.
Despite not being on Zimperiu’s list, Brazil faces problems with banking malware that has already reached Itaú, as in the case of ExobotCompact, in addition to Teabot and Exobot.

Santander and BBVA are the targets of the virus focused on the Spanish market, which is distributed by SMS.
It mainly operates in Turkey and manages to undermine Android accessibility services to make transactions on behalf of the victim.
This banking trojan is characteristic of the cryptocurrency market. In its actions, it connects to remote servers to receive commands.
