Colin Kaepernick reveals that he lived through alleged racist comments from his adoptive parents

Colin Kaepernick, a former NFL player and now an activist, assured that his adoptive parents would have acted against him with racist comments and in a tone of mockery of his hair. “Your hair is unprofessional, you look like a little killer“Were some of the phrases they said to the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback.

I know my parents loved me, but there were still very troublesome things that I went through. This can happen in your own home and how we collectively move forward as we tackle racism that is being perpetuated“, he pointed.

The statements were given by the quarterback who is without a team in a interview with CBS. Kaepernick has been out of the courts for almost six years, however at 35 he is looking forward to his return and confesses that he is still preparing for it.

It should be remembered that Kaepernick is a strong activist for the Black Lives Matter movement. and he also has a documentary series on the Netflix platform, from which he recounts the mistreatment he has received during his life, for the simple fact of being black.

The former player was the pioneer of kneeling on the ground as a protest against the constant mistreatment that the United States gave against people of color.
