Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez had a touching gesture when he sent help to a Venezuelan boy who did not have enough resources to pay for his career as a boxer. Walter is a 13-year-old boy from San Cristóbal, Táchira state, an area bordering Colombia, and his story was made known a few days ago on TikTok thanks to a Venezuelan influencer known as Manuel Conecta.

The content creator was found cleaning windshields on the streets in order to raise money for some boxing gloves. The repercussion of the audiovisual was such that another video was published this Saturday that records the help of ‘Canelo’ to this young Venezuelan. In the clip the Mexican appears signing boxing gloves and dedicating a few words.

“Walter, I already saw that you are working to buy some gloves. Give him a lot of desire. You always have to have an illusion for something and you have to be a boxer. Here I am going to send you some gloves so that you feel like it. A hug, God bless you”said the native of Guadalajara.

The boy, who was next to one of his trainers, ended up in tears when watching the recording and was later taken to a sports store in the region where he was able to choose different items for boxing practice at no cost.

This charitable action by the super middleweight world champion caused a stir on social networks with hundreds of positive responses and thanks.

“’Canelo’, God bless you for that miracle that you have given to that beautiful child”; “I’m not a fan of ‘Canelo’, but in this one I must admit that he did shine. Hopefully and one day we can watch the kid competing “; “’Canelo’ apart from being a great boxer, he also has a good heart. He helps a lot of people. Good luck, Walter, in your future”, were the reactions of Internet users on the platform.

In a few hours, the publication has already exceeded 100,000 views and more than 20,000 likes. This Venezuelan influencer is known for creating this type of content in order to help people in need. Recently, the Atlético de Madrid footballer, Sergio Reguilón, also collaborated with a young man who had financial difficulties to play football.

The first part of this story reached two million views and more than 200,000 likes.
