Bella Hadid is now five months alcohol-free, which she recently celebrated with a trip to Las Vegas. The announcement comes after the model said earlier this year that she gets “terrible anxiety” from alcohol.
On Monday, Bella Hadid celebrated five months sober, a milestone she shared on social media.
Celebrated in Las Vegas
Hadid mentioned the feat on TikTok where she posted a video from a night out with friends in Las Vegas. In the post – where Hadid is seen spinning around in a casino – she wrote: “5 months alcohol-free”.
Earlier this year, Hadid told InStyle that she would begin 2023 with a white month:
“I’ve drunk a lot in my life. I loved alcohol and it got to the point where I started canceling nights out when I felt I wouldn’t be able to control myself,” she said at the time.
Hadid also said that since 2021 she had been very frugal with her alcohol intake:
“I don’t feel the need to, because I know how it will affect me at three in the morning when I wake up with terrible anxiety and think about that thing I said five years ago when I graduated high school. It just leads to endless pain and stress over a few drinks that didn’t mean much,” she said.
